The best bargain mags are the POF mags, if you can find them. Usually about $30 each. The MKE mags are really good too, but cost twice as much. Definitely better than POF in the quality department. MKE is a solid bet @ $1100 however. PTR has no 922r issues, is sear ready, Lifetime warranty from an established US manufacturer (solid plus over Century/MKE or POF ).AP5 comes with door-kicker metal mags. PTR comes with a significantly nicer case. AP5 its a doodoo quality flimsy case that belongs in the trash. AP5 has a CHF/CL barrel and a military pedigree. PTR is commercial. PTR has a lifetime warranty. AP5, you get maybe a year of replacement parts from century.Zero regrets buying them. Wasn’t a fan of the nubs on the sides of the K’s trigger housing grip and swapped it for a converted c&p’d straight G3 trigger housing, and put a BFS3 in it. The 9CT is great with a tropical/wide handguard. 9CT is great with a brace. The 9KT really begs to be SBR’d.

I don’t think the any of the claw mounts fit the PTR guns. Partly because the pic rail is welded on. Partly because the claw mount surface on the PTR won’t accept them. Afaik the battle steel MP5 mount on a PTR is a no go.Put the muzzle down on a towel & pushed the sb tactical brace into position then inserted the drill bit from the bolt side of the firearm through to the right side as if it were the push pin.
