Update as of Dec 16th 2022 - I contacted Aiwit through the in app messaging facility and complained about the withdrawal of the 3 days free cloud storage. They apologised and said they would look into it. They have now reimplemented the facility and I can playback videos from the last 3 days with no subscription.

Bait technique - Sell a cheap product, then switch to a subscription model to continue to use it. Like most other people here, I purchased an Aiwit doorbell with the promise that 3 days of cloud storage would be included for life, and true to form, just like the majority of reviews here, my access to storage eventually stopped working and now stores nothing for any length of time in the cloud ...
