Earlier ones will work with modifications. 1986-1989 tiller model 07-36TL03. Uses tiller hitch 105543. Posted June 18, 2017. Just picked up 310-8. Third owner but previous owner stated only using tractor for a few hours then decided to buy zero turn and put 310 in shed for 6 years. I have file on 310 including owners manual. Tractor won't start unless I jump solenoid. Put in new solenoid from tractor supply. Still won't start unless jump solenoid.

The oldest manual you can download from Toro for the 310-8 is for the 1990 model and it is identical to the 1988 except for the wiring because you should have a 3amp unregulated charging system for the battery and the 1990 has a 15 amp regulated system.
