To add to this, the MDX non-Type S has electric brake booster and the Type S has brake-by-wire. Perhaps the "stiff" feeling sensation is because previous car most likely had a traditional vacuum brake booster and electric brake booster has a different feel @ startup.I don't like the push buttons for a couple reasons: 1) I saw in Topgear one of the hosts was able to steal one of the other hosts cars w/ a button start. They were at a restaurant then one them snuck outside and reparked the car in the middle of the street. 2) It is cheap to make a duplicate key. 3) Just weird. 4) Cost more.
