My accumark is just as accurate, weighs 11lbs scoped and with a 26 inch barrel will shoot a 300 gr bullet faster than the edge.I think the factor is how accurate the weatherby is that you get.The weatherby brass is better than the remington brass. Has anyone tried the 270 grain ELDX out of a 338 edge? My son threw a load together to start with and it shot 2943 FPS out of a proof barrel. He is going to push it up and see how it shoots and where top end is. Attached is a 3 shot group for the first try that was shot off a bipod. He is jumping about 30 thousandths.
